What this site remembers. And what it doesn’t.

Simply Doing AI

01

The short version

Necessary technology keeps this site available and secure. Optional first-party analytics only begin after you accept them. If you contact me, I use the information you deliberately send to answer you.

I do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising pixels. Resend open tracking and click tracking are disabled.

02

When you visit

Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. Like any web infrastructure provider, it processes request information such as IP address, browser details, requested page, timing and security signals. Cloudflare also provides short-lived operational logs and network-error reporting.

If you accept Analytics, Simply Doing AI creates a random anonymous browser ID and records pages viewed, broad device type, visit count, referral source and defined campaign information. Stored page addresses do not include query strings or fragments. Stored referrers are reduced to their origin rather than retaining their full query strings.

If you reject Analytics, those analytics cookies are removed and no visitor profile, page view or client interaction event is recorded.

03

When you contact me

The Contact form asks for your name, email address, business, a description of what is making the business harder, and optional additional details. Supabase stores the inquiry. Resend sends a copy to Kathleen, with your submitted email set as Reply-To.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks the submission for automated abuse. The server sends the Turnstile token and the request IP address to Cloudflare for verification; the application does not save that IP address in the inquiry record.

The Contact form works when Analytics is rejected. In that case, the inquiry is stored without an associated analytics visitor ID.

04

Email

The site retains lead, subscriber and email-delivery infrastructure for resources that may be offered separately. The visible prompt-pack signup is currently not part of the public Resources or article journey.

When someone deliberately joins an email list, Supabase stores the submitted email and relevant signup source, and Resend delivers the requested email. Delivery, bounce, complaint or unsubscribe information may be recorded so the email system can work and avoid unwanted sending. Resend open and click tracking are disabled.

05

Purchases

Purchase and fulfillment infrastructure remains available for products that may be offered separately. When a Stripe checkout is deliberately started, payment information is collected on Stripe’s hosted checkout. Simply Doing AI receives and stores the customer email, Stripe transaction identifiers, amount, currency and status needed for fulfillment and business records.

Simply Doing AI does not receive or store full card details.

06

Other places you can visit

The site links to Instagram, Substack, client websites and disclosed affiliate destinations. Those services do not load as embedded trackers on ordinary Simply Doing AI pages. If you choose to follow a link, the destination receives the normal browser request and applies its own privacy practices.

Affiliate clicks may be recorded as a first-party analytics event only when Analytics has been accepted.

07

Where information lives

Cloudflare hosts and protects the public site. Supabase stores site, inquiry, lead, analytics and purchase records. Resend handles email delivery. Stripe handles hosted checkout and payment processing when used.

These services may process information in countries outside the visitor’s own country as part of providing their infrastructure. Their own documentation describes their locations and service practices.

08

How long it stays

  • Anonymous visitor profiles: 12 months after last activity.
  • Raw analytics events: 12 months.
  • Active subscribers: while the email relationship remains active.
  • Inactive or unsubscribed lead profiles: reviewed for minimization or deletion around 24 months, while preserving minimal suppression information where needed.
  • Inquiries: 24 months after the last meaningful activity.
  • Confirmed spam inquiries: 90 days.
  • Raw email sends and events: 12 months.
  • Purchases: 7 years for practical business and accounting records.
09

Your privacy choices

You can accept or reject optional first-party analytics on your first visit and reopen Privacy Choices from the footer at any time. Rejecting Analytics removes the site’s analytics cookies and stops future visitor and event tracking. It does not silently claim to erase information already stored.

To ask about, correct or request deletion of information you deliberately submitted, email kablecher@gmail.com. Include enough detail to identify the inquiry or email address involved.

10

Changes

If the site’s privacy behavior changes materially, this page and its effective date will be updated. A new preference version can ask visitors to make a fresh analytics choice.

See the detailed Cookie Policy or reopen Privacy Choices from the footer.
